I have been thinking that it might be nice to set up a blog like this for the whole Sandmaier clan. I know that it looks like it would be hard for people to use but it's actually really really easy.
I could set up the web page. Once that is done leaving Blog entries like this one is as easy as sending an email. In fact the screen that I am typing this on right now looks almost exactly like the hotmail screen. It might be a nice way for everyone to keep in touch, share pictures and pass on info about important dates like xmas.

I think its a good idea.... do you have limitations on bandwidth.... I'm just thinking about sharing pictures, and whether people would hae to find their own hosting solutions for the picture files.
There are some good free picture hosting sites out there, but maybe not such an easy task for the technically challenged.

I am sure that there are limits but I have not been able to find any info on them. I figure we just set it up and if we ever get to the point where we start to have storage or bandwidth problems then that means that so many people in the family are using the blog that we can think about hosting someplace else.
Thats a long way off though.
The pictures that have put up so far are stored on the site. I used a program called Hello to upload them and it was pretty easy. Might be a bit tough to use the first time but it is set up for non tech savy users
