Man did it ever rain today. It started about an hour before I finished my last class and kept it up all till after I got home. It has rained so much this year.
Normally the great thing about Taichung is that it just never rains but not this year. It has rained a few times a week all summer long. Last year it only rained a few times a month at worst.
Oh well. At least I still have my duck suit.

We've been most impressed with our weather here in Sedgewick, because it hasn't frozen, we haven't had snow like Kari in Edmonton, Bonnie in Rocky Mountain House, Grandma in Camnrose and Judy in Lloydminster. We must live in paradise. It's warned up all the way to 20°, the grass is lush and green. So lush that we had a family of ducks through the yard - two even went in to the fish pond. Dad has finally had HIS ducks. Now we are keeping our fingers crossed that it doesn't freeze tonight. Actually we've had a poor summer too. Always - next year will be better. Remember the farmers crying about the lack of rain - well we've had it now. Come next summer for beautiful Alberta weather.
Can you believe Dad finally has his ducks? Now all he needs are the sheep that I've been wanting him to have and he'll have a real little farm there.
